THE LARRY DISTILLER FOUNDATION

prof larry distillerThe CDE Foundation came to fruition in 2016 and is a registered Non-Profit Organisation. 

Today it is known as the Larry Distiller Foundation and its mandate is to identify, support and fund various initiatives to uplift communities, healthcare professionals and other non-profit organisations in their quest to improve outcomes in diabetes.

  • The Foundation is involved in the following projects:
  • Provision of educational grants in the field of diabetes;
  • Youth with Diabetes

Community Projects including, but not restricted to, awareness and education activities. The Larry Distiller Foundation is governed by an independent board of trustees. 

Funding is sourced from the CDE and donations by various stakeholders with an interest in improving diabetes care.
